How we collect, use, and protect the information you share with us through this website.
This Privacy Policy explains how Forest Bloom Private Limited ("Forest Bloom", "we", "us", or "our") handles personal data in connection with the website at forestbloom.ai (the "Site"). We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act") and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.
This Site is an informational marketing website. It does not collect, store, or process any patient or medical data, and it is not used to operate the VeinMate Assist device. VeinMate Assist is an investigational device and is not approved for sale or clinical use.
1. Who we are
Forest Bloom Private Limited is a medical-technology company based in the Chandigarh region, India, developing VeinMate Assist. For the purposes of the DPDP Act, Forest Bloom is the Data Fiduciary responsible for personal data collected through this Site. You can reach us at hello@forestbloom.ai.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and to keep the Site secure:
Information you give us
When you use our "Request a briefing" or "Contact" forms, or email us, we collect the details you choose to provide — typically your name, organisation, role, email address, area of interest, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our servers may process limited technical information for security and reliability — such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and request timestamps, recorded in standard server logs. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.
What we do not collect
We do not collect patient data, medical or health records, images from the device, or any special-category personal data through this Site. Please do not send us medical or patient information through the forms.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your enquiry and follow up with relevant materials about Forest Bloom and VeinMate Assist.
- To arrange briefings, pilots, or partnership discussions you have asked about.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims where necessary.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Our legal basis
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (given when you submit a form or email us for a specific purpose) and, where permitted, for our legitimate business interests such as responding to enquiries and keeping the Site secure. You may withdraw consent at any time (see "Your rights"); withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
5. How we share information
We share personal data only in limited circumstances:
- Service providers (Data Processors): trusted vendors who help us run the Site and communications (for example, hosting, email, or form-handling providers), acting on our instructions under appropriate contractual safeguards.
- Legal and safety: where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Forest Bloom or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or reorganisation, subject to this policy.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
6. How long we keep it
We retain enquiry and contact details only for as long as needed to handle your request and our ongoing relationship, and thereafter as required for legitimate business or legal purposes. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and diagnostics. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
7. How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and the principle of collecting the minimum necessary. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to review our practices over time.
8. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside India. Where that happens, we take steps consistent with applicable law to ensure your information continues to be protected.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the DPDP Act, you may have the right to:
- access and obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction, completion, or updating of your data;
- request erasure of your data where it is no longer needed;
- withdraw consent previously given; and
- nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@forestbloom.ai. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
10. Cookies & analytics
This Site is designed to run without invasive tracking and does not set advertising cookies. If we add privacy-respecting analytics or any essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
11. Children
This Site is intended for a professional audience (clinicians, hospitals, investors, and partners) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.
12. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please review their policies separately.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
